Friday 13 November 2026
This will take place on Friday 13 November 2026.
Bookings are now open for the 2026 Melville College Lunch at Inverleith, bringing together former pupils, friends and members of the wider Erskine Stewart Melville community for an afternoon of friendship, memories and news from the School.
This year’s lunch also falls on the weekend of the Scotland v Australia rugby international at Murrayfield — making it a great opportunity to return to Edinburgh, reconnect with old friends and make a weekend of it.
Our programme will celebrate both the heritage of Melville College and the future of the newly merged School.
School historian Dr Jon Cooper will showcase a selection of fascinating items from the heritage collection, while the Principal will provide an update on the merged School.
Guests will also hear from School Captains Tom Brydie and Bea Smith, alongside a special musical performance from the Chamber Choir.
The Melville College Trust will share an update on how its £1 million donation has been invested to enhance facilities for pupils at the newly merged School. This includes the new combined Sixth Form Centre and Wellness Hub, created within the former Boarding House.
The lunch is not limited to former Melville College pupils. Spouses, partners and friends are very welcome, as are former pupils from across the wider Erskine Stewart Melville family of schools.
Whether you attend regularly or haven’t been back for many years, we would be delighted to welcome you.
Bookings are now open. Reserve your place through TryBooking: Book for the Melville College Lunch
